It is known, from the patent application EP 2,042,060, a food preparation apparatus comprising a heating container and an accessory for steam cooking comprising a tray for the recovery of condensates intended to rest on the mixing bowl and a basket for cooking food coming to position on the tray. In this document, the tray comprises a cavity for the recovery of condensate and two gripping handles arranged symmetrically on either side of the cavity. The cavity comprises a projecting chimney which allows the passage of the steam from the mixing bowl to the basket for cooking food, the condensates forming during the cooling of the steam in the basket falling by gravity into the cavity of the tank, avoiding as well as the condensates do not fall into the mixing bowl.

Such a baffle wall has the advantage of reducing the amount of condensates passing to the central orifice of the chimney during the transport of the accessory. The invention also relates to an electrical household appliance for culinary preparation comprising a mixing bowl receiving a working tool rotated by a motor and comprising a heating device for heating the contents of the mixing bowl, characterized in that it comprises an accessory for steam cooking as previously described. Figures 1 and 2 show a food preparation apparatus having a housing 1 and a mixing bowl 2 releasably resting on the housing 1, the mixing bowl 2 having a cylindrical shell, provided with an open upper end through which the ingredients can be introduced into the mixing bowl 2, this upper open end being closed by a removable lid 3, of generally circular shape, on which can come to rest an accessory 4 for steaming. The housing 1, described in more detail in the patent application FR 2 998 773 filed by the Applicant, contains in known manner an electric motor, not visible in the figures, for the rotational drive of a working tool 20 in the mixing bowl 2 and has a non-visible resistance for heating the contents of the mixing bowl 2. The resistance and the motor are controlled, in a manner known per se, by an electronic card arranged under a control panel 10 present on the 3035580 6 housing 1, the electronic card receiving the value of the temperature measured by a temperature sensor and controlling the supply of resistance to bring the contents of the mixing bowl 2 to a set temperature.

According to Figures 2 and 3, the accessory 4 for steaming comprises a tray 5 for the recovery of condensate coming directly on the lid 3 of the mixing bowl 2, a basket 6 for cooking food coming to rest on the tray 5, a cooking tray 7 intended to rest on the basket 6 to provide a second cooking stage, and a closure cover 8, preferably made of glass, resting on the tray 7 or directly on the basket 6. As can be seen in Figures 4 to 8, the tray 5 has a generally elongated shape and has in its center a cavity 50 for the recovery of condensate 20 which is bordered by a collector wall 51 inclined towards the cavity 50 , the tray 5 comprising a gripping handle 52 at each of its longitudinal ends. The cavity 50 comprises a bottom having in its center a chimney 53 projecting, advantageously having an inner diameter of about 8 cm, 25 in which the ring 31 of the cover 3 engages when the tray 5 rests on the lid 3. Preferably, the outer diameter of the ring 31 of the cover 3 is slightly smaller than the inside diameter of the stack 53 so that the ring 31 of the cover 3 engages inside the stack 53 30 centering the tray 5 on the lid 3. The chimney 53 comprises a cylindrical wall 54, of circular section, which extends substantially vertically from the bottom of the cavity 50, to a height of about 4 cm. , and which has an upper end at which transversely extends an annular wall 55 partially closing the upper end of the chimney 53, the annular wall 55 extending from the cylindrical wall 54 inwardly of the chimney 53 and comprising a central orifice 56, preferably having a diameter of about 5 cm, allowing the passage of steam. According to FIGS. 4 and 6, the chimney 53 comprises a cover 57 extending above the central orifice 56, the cover 57 being connected to the annular wall 55 by six feet 57A regularly distributed at the edge of the central orifice 56, the feet 57A having a height of the order of 5 mm and leaving between them radial openings 57B for the passage of steam. In a preferred manner, the chimney 53 comprises, at the edge of the central orifice 56, a tubular wall 56A extending axially to the central orifice 56, inside the chimney 53, at a height of the order 15 mm, the inner tubular wall 56A having a diameter identical to that of the central orifice 56 and having a lower end in alignment with the central opening 32 of the cover 3.
    [0007] As can be seen in FIG. 6, the chimney 53 comprises, facing each gripping handle 52, a full deflector wall 58, rising vertically to a height of about 5 mm from the edge of the wall. Annular 55, the two deflector walls 58 extending over an angular sector slightly less than 180 ° so that there results, between the ends of the deflector walls 58, a passage 59 having a width of about 7 mm. The operation of the apparatus will now be described. When the user wishes to steam food with the apparatus, he puts water, or a liquid preparation, in the mixing bowl 2 of the apparatus, and then places the lid 3 on the mixing bowl 2 of the device. The accessory 4 is then placed on the lid 3, as shown in FIG. 1, so that the chimney 53 of the tank 5 comes to engage around the ring 31, the tubular wall 56A inside the tank 5 it is then aligned with the central opening 32 of the lid 3. The user can then place the first foods to be cooked in the basket 6 and possibly use the tray 7 to cook other foods in the upper part of the basket 6 without these being in contact with the first foods. The steam produced in the mixing bowl 2 then escapes through the opening 32 of the lid 3, then through the tubular wall 56A before being deflected by the cover 57 to be diffused by the radial openings 57B of the chimney 20 53 following the flow illustrated by the arrows in Figure 5. The steam is then equitably distributed on the underside of the basket 6 and enters through the latter through holes in the bottom of the basket 6, then through holes managed in the bottom of the plate 7, before escaping through two openings 80 formed in the closure cover 8.
    [0008] During cooking, the condensates formed in contact with the cold walls of the basket 6 flow by gravity into the cavity 50, thus avoiding that they return to the mixing bowl 2 and pollute a potential preparation in progress of realization. When the steaming is complete, the entire accessory 4 can be lifted by grasping the gripping handles 52 so as to bring the accessory 4 into a sink, the ribs 52A present under the handles 3035580 9 gripping 52 acting as cooling fins and having the advantage of greatly lowering the temperature in the area of contact with the hand, thus avoiding any risk of burning. During the displacement of the accessory 4 by the user, the liquid present in the cavity 50 naturally has a tendency to move from one longitudinal end to the other of the tank 5, such displacement of the liquid being, however, retarded by the presence of partition walls 50A which act as a dam opposing the displacement of the liquid. When the amount of liquid present in the cavity 50 is large, nevertheless a part of the liquid that moves longitudinally, forming a wave which strikes the chimney 53 on its sides facing the gripping handles 52, results in that is, where the chimney 53 has the deflecting walls 58. The deflecting walls 58, which rise above the level of the annular wall 55, then act as dikes which oppose the passage of liquid in the direction of the central orifice 56 of the chimney 53. If liquid still manages to pass over the deflector wall 58, the passages 59 disposed between the two deflector walls 58, and oriented transversely to the longitudinal axis of the 5, allow the liquid present on the annular wall 55, and flowing along the deflector wall 58, to flow into the cavity 50, thus reducing the risk that the latter may flow u through the central orifice 56 of the chimney 53.
